St. Boniface Research Centre hosted over 40 Ambassadors to Canada from many countries all over the world this morning. The Centre had been identified as preferred site to visit due to our significant research accomplishments and history of international relationships for training students, fellows and visiting scientists.
The visit was a tremendous opportunity to convey the potential for student exchanges, support programs and research collaborations. The ambassadors viewed the Research Centre’s 20th Anniversary video, followed by a presentation on the international nature of medical research by Director Dr. Grant Pierce. This was followed by a walk through the Centre to see 4-8 different displays within labs in the MacLean Building and in the Asper Clinical Research Institute.
