The Carolyn Sifton-Helene Fuld Library is a satellite information centre of the University of Manitoba Health Sciences Libraries. Located on the main floor of the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Centre, the library provides academic information resources to support patient care, education and research at the St. Boniface General Hospital, the SBGH Research Centre, and the I.H. Asper Clinical Research Institute.
Staff and students have access to up-to-date medical and nursing reference materials and a core collection of major print periodicals. As part of the University of Manitoba Libraries, the SBGH Library is connected to a vast array of licensed information resources, including hundreds of online databases and thousands of e-journals and e-books. The library is an ideal space for individual or group study.
Professional literature searches are available upon request. Materials not held in the library may be obtained quickly and reliably through our document delivery service. Library staff welcome reference queries of any kind. Orientation and training sessions are available to any user. All services are free of charge.
Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Authorized staff and students have 24-hour access to the library.
