Clinical Research at CCARM: Impacting Health Through Translational Research
An important component of CCARM’s research program is to translate positive results from basic laboratory science into new and safe dietary supplements and food products that will directly impact the health of the Canadian public. To this end, following laboratory studies to ensure safety and effectiveness, CCARM conducts clinical research studies of products and food products identified by our laboratories as having potential beneficial effects on diseases of clinical and financial significance to Canadians. Diseases targeted include immune disorders, diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease.
CCARM regularly recruits healthy and patient volunteers to participate in clinical research studies and we encourage you to become involved.
