Keeping your Ticker Happy: Strategies for Heart Health Interested in talking and learning more about different health topics and related research? Café Scientifique brings together experts in a relaxed atmosphere to talk about their work and the questions it raises. Come and join the discussion! More people die of heart attacks every year in Canada than from any other cause. Researchers around the world continue to work on learning what makes our tickers keep on ticking and what factors play a role in our hearts' health. Things like what we eat, how often we move, and lifestyle choices like smoking, play a major role.
