St. Boniface Hospital Research

Congratulations to Dr. Grant N. Pierce, St. Boniface Hospital Executive Director of Research, on receiving the Manjeet Singh Oration Award, given in New Delhi, India on February 3, 2010. The award was presented to Dr, Pierce at the Joint International Conference of ISHR-IACS (International Society for Heart Research / International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences) for "outstanding contributions in Cardiovascular Sciences".

Congratulations also to Dr. Naranjan S. Dhalla, Distinguished Professor and Director of Cardiovascular Development, who was recently elected Honorary Foreign Fellow of the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Dhalla was also elected as Honorary Fellow of the Punjab Academy of Sciences, in recognition for "outstanding research contributions and achievements in the field of Medical Sciences". The honour was received February 7, 2010 during the 13th Punjab Science Congress held in Chandigarth, India.
