The Office of Clinical Research, in collaboration with OCR statistical consultant Doug Staley, offers a wide range of statistical services and expertise that may be of assistance to medical researchers in any phase of the research process.
Doug Staley is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with degrees in Electrical Engineering Science (B.Sc.E.E.) and Psychology (M.A.).
For the the past 25 years he has worked as a researcher and statistician with the
Department of Psychiatry, at St. Boniface General Hospital and he has taught a statistics course at the School of Medical Rehabilitation, University of Manitoba for the last 20 years. Doug is the author or co-author of more than 45 journal articles and books in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, medicine and education.
