The Red Top restaurant – a St. Boniface institution for over 50 years – has achieved another milestone in its storied history. The profits from sales of Red Top promotional t-shirts has topped $5000 – all of it donated to St-Boniface Hospital Foundation.

The restaurant is run by owner Vicky Scouras and her son, General manager Peter Scouras. Vicky’s husband John, one of the original owners of the Red Top, passed away of a heart attack in 2007. Funds raised from t-shirt sales are directed to St. Boniface Hospital Research’s Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences.
