Congratulations to Dr. Grant Pierce, Executive Director of Research, St-Boniface Hospital, Professor, Department of Physiology, University of Manitoba, and Dr. Naranjan Dhalla, Director of Cardiovascular Developments, Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, St-Boniface Hospital Research, Distinguished Professor of Physiology, University of Manitoba, who were each awarded the Czech Physiological Society’s Laufberger Medal. The medal is given in recognition of scientific excellence and contribution to the enhancement of international scientific collaboration.
The awards were presented in Prague, Czech Republic, on February 9, 2015 by Professor Jaroslav Pokorny, President of the Czech Physiological Society.
