On Feb. 11, the Winnipeg Jets hosted the franchise’s first South Asian Heritage Night, presented by Canada Life. The team beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1, while celebrating South Asian heritage with specialty jerseys featuring a unique logo, an auction supporting Punjabi Community Health Services Manitoba, merchandise, and South Asian food and cultural performances at the Canada Life Centre.
But the highlight for many was seeing Dr. Naranjan Dhalla lead the ceremonial puck-drop, flanked by Sukhvir Singh, Raj Brar and Monika Deol.

It is a proud moments for me as the Priesident, of India Section of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences to see Dr. Naranjan Dhalla in Ceremonial Puck Drop at the Canadian Life Center. He is the the GOD (Generator as the founder; Operator promoting heart health and Devotional to the Scientists and Doctors all around) in Cardiovascular Sciences.
He is our Distingushed Guest in Annual Conference of IACS / ISHR being held at Chandigarh, India. Let’s be continued to be blessed by him.
Prof. Dhalla is my Guru (Teacher) since last two decades. So decated, generous person!!
God bless him lots of Health and Long Life
