For the 12th year in a row, the St. Boniface Hospital is among Canada’s leading research hospitals, taking the #1 spot in western Canada and ranking in the Top 5 nationally in the small hospital category, according to data released by Research Infosource Inc. Canada’s source of R&D intelligence.

“We have a great team of researchers, engaged in studies from the lab bench to the bedside, and covering science, medicine, health and wellness from a wide variety of perspectives. The support received from our partners, including the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and the people of our community, makes this work possible. We are pleased and proud to see this recognition of the impactful work carried out at St. Boniface Hospital Research,” says Dr. Mike Czubryt, Executive Director of Research, St. Boniface Hospital.

St. Boniface Hospital has always recognized the power of the research discoveries and potential interventions the talented cardiac, brain, food sciences and clinical research teams are pursuing.

“It’s great to see our strength in research recognized nationally and celebrate the leading position we have held for a dozen years now, says Nicole Aminot, President & CEO, St. Boniface Hospital. “This is a very proud day for Dr. Czubryt and his colleagues and team at the Albrechtsen Research Centre and Asper Clinical Research Institute – congratulations!”
