The Heart & Stroke Foundation was among a select group of organizations entrusted with distributing these medals nationally. Dr. Czubryt was one of the distinguished recipients from Manitoba, recognized for his outstanding efforts.
About the King Charles III Coronation Medal
The Coronation Medal serves as a lasting tribute to the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III as King of Canada. The administration of the medal falls under the purview of the Chancellery of Honours at Rideau Hall.
To be considered for this honour, candidates must meet specific national criteria: they must have made a significant contribution to Canada or a particular province, territory, region, or community within Canada, or achieved an outstanding accomplishment abroad that brings credit to Canada.
Throughout the anniversary year, a total of 30,000 medals will be awarded across Canada, with 4,000 specifically designated to recognize members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).
