Dr. Harold Aukema, Principal Investigator from the Nutrition and Lipid Mediators lab in the Canadian Centre for Agri-Food Research in Health and Medicine (CCARM), has been named Professor Emeritus by the University of Manitoba, one of the highest honours the University bestows in recognition of distinguished service in research, teaching, and scholarship.
Dr. Aukema’s work on diet, lipid metabolism and health has had a significant impact both locally and internationally. His emeriti designation reflects his important contributions to scientific knowledge and to training the next generation of researchers.
