Dr. Kevin Boreskie, a PhD graduate from Dr. Todd Duhamel’s lab, has received a Canadian Medical Association (CMA) Award for Young Leaders in the resident category.
The award recognizes residents who demonstrate exemplary creativity, initiative, and commitment to making a difference at the local, provincial, or national level.
Now pursuing his MD, Dr. Boreskie was selected for his leadership and contributions to health care and his community. The national recognition highlights the impact that trainees from St. Boniface Hospital Research continue to have as they advance their careers in research, medicine, and health-care leadership.
