Clinical Research
Bringing Discoveries to the "Bedside"
About Clinical Research
Since 1987, St. Boniface Hospital Research has gained international recognition for its strengths in basic research – in the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, the Canadian Centre for Agri-Food Research in Health and Medicine (CCARM), and the Division of Neurodegenerative Disorders. As the Research Centre neared capacity, a need was recognized to “bridge the gap” to the bedside, and the 100,000 square-foot I.H. Asper Clinical Research Institute was born.
St. Boniface Hospital Research’s clinical research programs are found within the Asper Institute.
