Dr. Randy Fransoo

 

Dr. Randall Fransoo is a Senior Research Scientist at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy (MCHP) and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. He has led MCHP projects on a number of topics, including several Atlas-style population health reports, recent studies on the use of hospital beds and ICUs in Manitoba and Adult Obesity. Randy is also the Co-Director (with Dr. Patricia Martens) of The Need To Know team, a national award-winning research collaborative. He received the Gerry McDole Professorship Award (2010-2013) in Improved Healthcare Delivery to Rural, Remote, and Underserved Populations of Manitoba. Dr. Fransoo’s research interests also include clinical epidemiology projects with colleagues in Anesthesia, Cardiac Sciences, and Critical Care.
